Bergen Group Dreggen has long traditions in serving the worldwide shipbuilding and oil and gas industry with tailor made marine cranes and lifting equipment. The Dreggen brand is associated with a continuously growing range of reliable and high quality marine products and services.
Bergen Group Dreggen’s main manufacturing site and head quarters is centrally located in Bergen, with additional production facilities in Poland, Korea, China and Brazil. All products are based on Bergen Group Dreggen’s proprietary design. The company’s production facilities and partners worldwide enable Bergen Group Dreggen to offer their customers access to a group of companies, covering all aspects within the field of cranes and lifting equipment. Bergen Group Dreggen has long and broad experience in the industry and during recent years the company has experienced a substantial growth in turnover as well as number of employees. The company has recently strengthened its position towards the international market by opening a sales office in Brazil. The Brazilian subsidiary will likely represent an industrial supplement in near future. This is an important strategic expansion of our business that enables an increased focus on the service and after sales markets.
PRODUCTS
Our main products are slewing cranes for the marine industry and rail travelling cranes for the offshore industry. The lifting capacities of the cranes range from 500 – 400.000 kgs and all parts are designed and manufactured according to our customer’s needs and requirements.To the offshore industry we deliver; hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, pneumatic and electric operated BOP handling cranes, X-mas tree handling cranes and deck cranes for use in explosive area of the installation.
To the marine industry we deliver; engine room cranes, provision handling cranes, monorail provision handling cranes, service cranes and hose handling cranes.
FACILITIES
We have approx 3000 m2 of offices, workshop and warehouse outside centre of Bergen with suitable crane capacity, adjacent deep water quay and a test base for slewing cranes.In addition we do have available 1300 m2 mounting area at Stord for assembly and testing of larger cranes. Here is also a quay with limited water depth and 10 offices accommodations.
