Goodmorning Sunshine!

Aboard the Historic Tugboat Elbe

Embarking on the Elbe, an iconic seatug turned into a museum ship. With origins dating back to 1959, this study vessel, once a robust workhorse of the seas, now stands as a testament to a bygone era, meticulously preserved by a team of passionate volunteers.

As I traversed the Elbe's weathered deck and explored its inner workings, I discovered more than just a ship; I found a living museum cared for with unwavering dedication. The engine room, wheelhouse, and crew's quarters echoed with tales of maritime life, while the vibrant community of volunteers breathed life into the Elbe's rich history, ensuring that its legacy continues to sail through time.

Season greetings from the TBU team!
