HOW IT WORKS
Measuring Principle
All Deckma OMD-series monitors use advanced optical measurement technology to continuously analyze the oil content in water samples.

Sample Intake
A representative sample from the oily water separator flows through the Measuring Cell at an optimal rate of approximately 2 liters per minute.

Optical Analysis
The optical measurement system continuously analyzes oil particle concentration, solids, and turbidity in the sample — distinguishing between different contaminant types.

Alarm & Control
When oil content exceeds the set alarm point, visual alarms activate at the front panel and relay contacts switch — triggering the three-way valve to recirculate water back to the bilge tank.
